Jayson Ramalho

Assistant Principal

Mr. Ramalho is in his fourth year as an Assistant Principal within the Chelmsford Public Schools. In the 2018-19 school year, Mr. Ramalho served as the Assistant Principal of both Center and South Row Schools. On July 1st, 2019, Mr. Ramalho was appointed the first full time Assistant Principal at South Row. Previously, Mr. Ramalho was a Physical Education Teacher at the Comprehensive Grammar School within the Methuen Public Schools where he taught at the elementary and middle school levels for 7 years. Mr. Ramalho’s educational interests include social emotional learning, technology in education, fostering a positive school culture, and developing and promoting a positive home-school connection with families. Mr. Ramalho serves on a variety of district and school based teams. At the district level, Mr. Ramalho is part of the District Educator Evaluation Team and District MTSS Team (Multi-Tiered System and Supports). At the school based level, Mr. Ramalho co-chair’s team leader, Tier 1, and Tier 2 teams. Mr. Ramalho is also an active member of the PTO, School Council, Outdoor learning space committee, and International Festival committee.  As a proud South Row alum, you will find Mr. Ramalho at many school wide events promoting, supporting, and celebrating the students and staff at South Row. Mr. Ramalho enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercising, eating ice cream, and spending time at the beach in the summer months.
